The proceeds provide financial aid for future tennis stars

 

  • Dana Johnson--General Manager. An All-American at Wake Forest University, Dana was voted one of the top fifty players in their ACC history. She continues to assist with several clinics and teaches a limited number of private lessons and is USPTA certified.

  • Martin Blackman--Director of Tennis. Martin was recognized as MVP for Stanford University's team and he won nine titles on the ATP tour. He is a Board member of the USTA and the Washington Tennis and Education Foundation. Five successful years as the Head Coach for American University. USPTR certified.
   
  • Dj Butler--Director of Member Services. DJ leads group clinics and private lessons for juniors and adults of all levels, coordinates Club league play and USTA team play, and he serves as tournament director for more than twenty junior tournaments hosted here each year, including a National Open. DJ is also an assistant coach to the University of Maryland Women's team. USPTA certified.


     
  • Katerina Stecova--Senior Account Manager, Marketing and Development. Katerina, originally from the Czech Republic, played tennis for Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo, MI and later Hampton University in Hampton, VA. Her professional experience includes working at the renowned Saddlebrook Resort for the Harry Hopman Tennis Academy in Tampa, FL. She received a Masters Degree in Public Communication from American University and a Masters Degree in Business Administration from Old Dominion University.

Martin Blackman: TENNIS FLASH! Strong Mental Game Wins Match-- Director of Tennis at the Junior Tennis Champions Center, MVP on his Stanford team, won 9 ATP tour titles, and served 5 years as American University head coach.
